The Harmony Code is a body of work created by Michael and Jenny Nokken that explores the relationship between perception, environment, and the human experience of harmony.
At its core, the work is based on a simple premise:
the art you live with becomes part of the field you live in.
Across cultures and centuries, images have been used not only to represent life, but to shape the atmosphere in which life unfolds. The Harmony Code continues this lineage in a contemporary form—offering visual environments that support coherence, presence, and a deeper sense of alignment.
Rather than functioning as symbolic or narrative compositions, these works operate as fields of resonance—engaging perception directly, before interpretation.
The result is artwork that does not ask to be understood, but to be lived with and participated in.
